Celebrities?...Just people like you and me.

The range of people I coach individually is, quite honestly, staggering.

There is no consistent age, type, sex, or occupation-some are seriously wealthy some are not so, some have a traditional job, others don't, like:

Golfers
Actors
Singers
Footballers
Business Leaders
Chief Execs

But what do they have in common?

.....not enough 'success' or 'happyness' (judged by their own rules not mine).

When we are looking for the answers with something 'tangible'-like, you know, material stuff, money or concrete stats -
that's when we get disappointed.
Why?
Because the answers are not always on the outside.
We are looking way too far away.
And often we won't allow ourselves to feel we've 'achieved' until we get the tangibles- then when we do get what we think we're looking for ....well.....we still don't feel the way we were expecting. (And if we do it's short lived).
Is that sad?  Yep, and more like ,just real life nowadays.

So many of us are still searching for something.

....'Yes but if I had more money Amana, I'd be happy' I hear people say.

Oh really? For how long? Money might plug one gap-but it always, always creates another.

To change how we feel, we need to change how we think.

It's simple-but not easy. Ask anyone who has ever tried to diet!

Changing the habits of a lifetime can happen very quickly with coaching-but STAYING that way and keeping that momentum going is where I really can help.

I may coach celebrities, but behind closed doors? We are all the same.

They are just people. People like us.

(Only, the more successful we are, and the more money we have, the more we have to cope with.)

Some people are more well known than others. But still no better, and no worse than us.

Listen to my video for a cheeky little insight into how I help ,in an unconventional way.

Because now - conventional just won't do.

How 'Rich' are you?

The 2010 'Rich List' has just come out.

It's easy to feel envious of those people who have millions (many of whom have worked damn hard to get that money). They don't have to worry about bills, they can spend whatever they want-on whatever they want. Holidays, cars, homes, luxuries etc etc.

But hold on a minute!....how many of them are happy?

Ok, I know you'd be happy if you had that money, but for how long?

You see some of the people I coach are millionaires (celebrities, sport stars, successful business people) -and some of them are very unhappy.

Why is that?

Well, once the novelty of money has worn off, life becomes 'normal' again-and we take for granted what we do have, and start focusing on what we don't have.

For millionaires - it's often things like:

- Security for their family (fear of kidnapping/mugging)

- Fear of losing it all

- The feeling that they don't have enough (yes, really)

- Not yet achieved the success they really want

- No love in their life/ unhappy with their relationship

- The pressure that comes with having wealth, and the stress it causes in relationships

- A regret that they even got it in the first place (common amongst lottery winners)

Sadly, money doesn't guarantee happiness or health -which are the things that everyone really wants. So next time you are wishing you had their money-think about what it is you really want in your life and what you have now.

Happiness and health-the only riches that matter - when all is said and done.

How many of you are on that 'rich' list?

Hey -What Recession?

So there is good news sprouting up that we may be seeing the start of the end of the recession.

Phew!

Whether you choose to believe that or not-it's good for business to believe it. And it's good for you personally.

Why?

Because the more positive you feel-the better you perform. The more you sell. The more encouraged you are to try hard, and jump over hurdles that get in your way.

Of course-some people will always be in a recession-it's a 'personal recession'-and they may have been in it for years. They look on the bleak side, they think and talk negative, they are doubters, and they are cynical.

Not you?

Good! All you have to do to get motoring then, is to believe that business is out there, and get ready to sweep your customers off their feet.

Recession-what recession? There is always opportunity for those who look.

How to get 'lucky'..

Some people are just lucky, right?

Wrong!

People who are just lucky tend to create their own luck. And anyone can do it, it's just that most people don't-they wait for things to happen to them (it's ok, I admit I've done this plenty of times).

I'm not talking about any magic potion here by the way, or doing any 'hocus pocus'-or in fact doing anything illegal, sorry!

But here's the thing, you can be lucky by having a great attitude, by being fun to be around, by helping people out, by doing things that other people can't be bothered to do, by being happy and showing it, by working hard, by being likeable.

(Isn't today of all days a time to remember just how lucky you are to be alive? If you need a reminder, remember 9/11/2001.) Count your blessings-you already have more than most.

All sound a bit cheesy?-Ok well why don't you give it a go then? You see the truth is some people may do/be these things now and then-but to create your own luck, you need to create a real buzz about yourself. If people want to be around you, they will do things for you.

Then you start to open your own doors , and luck starts happening.

Trust me, it works.

There are times when I have been 'moping' around and had all the bad 'luck' I could handle.

But when I turn on the motor and act like I'm the luckiest person in the world-I change physically and mentally. Then good luck starts to show up-and you just have to notice it. The more consistent you are with your behaviour and attitude, the more chance you have of making yourself one of those 'lucky' people in life.

So go on-act it, expect it, and you'll start to get it.

Take a success pill

Seems like we are living in an age of 'addiction'....and most of the stuff we are addicted to is bad for us.

So if we are going to get hooked on sumething-why not make it something that drives us to succeed-in whatever it is we want from life. Health, diet, love, fame, money...you know what's important to you.

How do you start?

Sounds easy enough, but this is where most of us go wrong. We don't define exactly what we do want. We know what we don't want-but that's no good if you want to succeed.

So write it down-simply and clearly.

What's the 'dosage'?

At least once a day-look at what you've written down. Etch it on your brain! Why? because the more you can 'see' what you want, the more chance you have of getting it.

Now all you have to do is start taking steps-so something every day that gets you closer to the success you've defined.

The more you are 'addicted' to doing this-the sooner it will happen.

Of course some of us still need help along the way, like encouragement from friends and family,

and also a kick up the butt when needed! But if you're determined to do it, you will.

For those of you who want a bit of extra 'butt kicking'-get in touch with us, and a coach will sort you out in a jiffy.

Get yourself hooked on something worthwhile.

Good luck!
