Was Whitney ready to die...?

As another talented artist dies, and the grief is felt around the world  - the questions continue to be asked:

Why?

Was she on drugs?

Did she even intend to die?

The question I would add is 'was she ready to die?'......

Whitney loved singing all her life, and after watching her funeral ('coming home') service - she clearly was devoted to her faith. But over the years her struggles were played out in the spotlight for all to see , and no doubt, judge. This surely would have hurt her, and put pressure on her, even more.

There is no doubt that she had loving family and friends around her - supporting her and trying to help her through.
She also (seemingly) entered rehab and help facilities over the years.

But still, she didn't receive the help that she needed.
As with so many stars in the world of showbiz and sports - the right type of help , arguably was not there when needed.

And it's needed most on the climb to the top.  (Not when a star has fallen).  

Whitney had looked everywhere for the help she needed, and she couldn't find it.

That's why I believe she was ready to die.

RIP Whitney. My favourite artists of all time.
